**About the Role**
Based in Ballarat, Laminex are seeking a Support Services Manager - Inventory to join us The primary purpose of the role is to ensure accurate & customer focused despatch co-ordination of all 4 production work centres within the Ballarat Gregory St Plants.
Other duties may include:
- Participate in processes and identify opportunities for improvement & optimisation for despatch
- Provide education and assistance to individuals and teams to improve understanding of despatch process
- Communicate across all levels of the organisation to identify root causes of despatch or loading errors and eliminate their source
- Analyse data and trends and provide recommendations to help improve business performance, profitability and safety
- Assist in Accounts Payable tasks as required
- Support the implementation of the Ballarat Plant strategic priorities
- Collaborate with peers to identify and overcome inventory challenges
- Contribute to a safe, values based workspace
**Required skills / experience**
You will be an integral member of our supply team and continue to develop your career within an innovative and driven organisation.
You will ideally hold:
- Experience in a similar manufacturing function and role, with exposure to
- Despatch process
- Inventory management
- Product costing
- BPCS or equivalent
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- An understanding of core business, production demands & despatch practices including collaboration with supply chain initiatives
- Outcome focussed, resilient and adaptable
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
