About the Role

Melba Support Services is seeking a skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in Ballarat. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the people we support lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement support plans based on the needs, preferences, and interests of the individuals we support.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene, household duties, and medication administration.
  • Promote personal choice and control for the individuals we support.
  • Aid people to participate in activities, such as social events, work, and appointments.

Requirements

  • A passion for enabling and working with people.
  • Desire for meaningful work and comfort in providing daily living support.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
