**About the Role**

The Future Students team within the Arts/ Fine Arts and Music (FAM) Divisional Group plays a crucial role in the recruitment and selection of students at the University of Melbourne. We handle both onshore and offshore strategies, answer enquiries from prospective students, and provide exceptional service to both coursework and research applicants. Additionally, we manage the selection and admissions process for undergraduate and graduate coursework programs and provide support for complex undergraduate selection within FAM.

Based on our Southbank campus, you'll be vital in converting top-quality applicants into enrolled students and meeting our divisional targets through a talent-based selection process.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the Admissions and Selection Manager, and Associate Director, Future Students on FAM recruitment, admissions plan, and monitoring progress to meet KPIs.
- Coordinating academic staff to ensure a fair and timely applicant selection process.
- Offering selection policy and procedural guidance to Division leadership and staff as needed.

**Who we are looking for**

We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in admissions within a tertiary education context. You will be able to draw on your high-level communication and collaboration skills to develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders to influence optimal outcomes for the University, Faculties, and students.

You will also have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated leadership and experience in aligning organisational strategies and balancing resourcing demands, preferably within a complex environment.
- Demonstrated commitment and experience in providing a high level of service delivery to students and divisions alike.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute towards problem-solving, and the ability to think flexibly and continuous improvement with an agile mindset.
