**About**

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences has an enviable research record and is the University of Melbourne’s largest faculty in terms of management of financial resources, employment of academic and professional staff, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate (including research higher degree) students and the conduct of basic and applied research. The Faculty’s annual revenue is $628m with approximately 55% of this income related to research activities.

**About the Role**

The position will support the Faculty Honours Director and lead a team in the provision of accurate and detailed information and advice in relation to selection, admissions and scholarship processes and organisation of student enrichment activities for MDHS Honours programs. The role requires high-level client service expertise and well-developed strategies for managing a diverse range of clients with different needs in a dynamic and complex environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Delivering expert service and advice to stakeholders of the Learning and Teaching Unit
- Supporting the Faculty Honours Director in Honours program governance, program delivery, communications, reporting, student recruitment, selection, internships, student support and enrichment
- Coordinating all aspects of the admissions process

You are highly organised with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Your high-level interpersonal and customer service skills enable you to communicate effectively with clients from a broad range of backgrounds. A flexible, positive attitude is required as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

You will also have:

- A relevant degree with experience within the higher education sector; or a combination of relevant experience and education/ training
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to providing a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to influence and forge working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
