**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership profile, provide strategic advice to senior executives to ensure best-practice communications and stakeholder engagement to promote the University’s profile domestically and globally. You will lead communications activities aligned with strategic objectives for the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Fine Arts & Music.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Strategic Communication (Faculties and Graduate Schools), you will design and deliver integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to support the strategic objectives of the faculties, as well as to protect and enhance the University’s reputation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design and deliver programs spanning internal and external communications via a multi-channel approach to media and publicity, content, digital platforms, and events.
- Develop and deliver the Deans’ leadership communications plans and provide strategic advice to senior leaders.
- Drive an integrated approach to internal communications across the faculties and across the University. Lead a small team of communications specialists to maximise opportunities for content development.

**Who We Are Looking For**
Your exceptional communication skills and relationship management skills enable you to effectively engage stakeholders, including executives, in identifying and delivering to their needs. You are an effective leader with strong project management and creative problem-solving skills that enable you to navigate complex environments and deliver best-for-business outcomes.

You will also have:

- Extensive work experience within relevant marketing and communications fields and a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business, or a related discipline
- Communications experience in a similar role within a large complex environment, developing and implementing communication programs to effectively engage audiences.
- A comprehensive understanding of managing stakeholders, issues, and reputation.
- Proven track record managing issues and crisis management in complex environments.
