Job Description Summary

ServiceStream are looking for a Field Supervisor to manage our team of Meter Technicians.
About the Role

We are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to manage our team of Meter Technicians This role will contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by performing performance management and training of the field force. The Field Supervisor (Electricity Meter Services VIC) will be directly responsible for driving field performance and aiming for constant delivery on all associated operational KPI’s. The role will also be responsible for conducting audit work within the contracts area of field operations as well as daily operational tasks which includes but is not limited to disconnection and reconnection of customer supply, fault investigation and rectifications.

Key Responsiblities
- Ensure all contractual KPI’s are met and if possible exceeded
- Assist in maintaining a strong client relationship and act as key point of contact for reader performance and behaviour related complaints
- Ensure quality of work is in accordance with contractual requirements, company standards and to the satisfaction of the client
- Planning and co-ordinating all daily tasks associated with the role to ensure designated responsibilities and tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Perform ad-hoc auditing, reading and field based investigations where requested
- Promote a systematic approach to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Issues and adhere to all HSE Policies & Procedures
- Report all HSE Incidents in line with Service Stream’s Incident Reporting Process and Client’s own requirements
- Investigate employee injuries, near misses and workplace hazards when requested and do so in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant occupational health and safety and environmental procedural guidelines
- Provide coaching and mentoring to operational staff, ensuring all direct reports are trained and equipped with the necessary skills and equipment/PPE to be able to carry out all duties associated with the conditions of the contract they are servicing
- Provide an excellent customer service and follow up any customers’ complaints within agreed timeframes
- Ensure reporting is completed in line with Client and Management requirements
- At all times create an environment of good team spirit among all employees
- Assist the Contract manager in driving contract performance in areas such as Retention, Quality and Delivery

Experience Required
- People management (operational/field environment desirable)
- Extensive experience in Contract, Customer and Client management
- Management Systems focus (Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental)
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook + databases
- Experience problem solving and dealing with complex issues
- Interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Applicants must
- Be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am and 6pm including some overtime and call outs
- Possess a current & valid Victorian driver's licence - auto and manual
- Agree to undergo a medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- Possess sound communication skills
- Have customer service experience including conflict resolution skills
- Ability to understand and follow work procedures and safe approach to work
- Highly motivated, flexible and organised

The following qualifications are required for the role.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field supervisory or operational based role
- OHS Construction Industry White card
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
