Job Description Summary

Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to join our growing company.
About the Role

Nature of position: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Clayton South

Reporting Line: Senior Field Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The Field Supervisor is responsible for contributing to the profitability and growth of Service Stream Fixed Communications by managing the operations of a project, within a defined geographic or functional area, to ensure that the company stakeholders benefit from the profitability and ongoing viability of the business. Including:

- Managing a team of subcontractors in the efficient maintenance and / or construction of Telecommunication infrastructure (copper and fibre).
- Maintaining and promoting Service Stream high level of HSE requirements. Good understand of HSE principles and how they are implemented, to ensure a safe work environment.
- Meeting and exceeding targets set by the client.
- Managing the client - customer relationship.
- Providing motivation and leadership to a team of contractors; within a safe and compliant working environment.
- Formulating comprehensive quotations and tenders.
- Working in a team environment and assist others when required.
- Completing both Safety and Quality Audit on subcontractors and construction works, during construction and at completion of projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you are a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes. You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is essential.
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of Telstra's network, civil, copper and fibre, and the client's construction, rehabilitation and replacement requirements. Relevant external plant accreditations essential for this role
- A good understanding of the formulation and implementation of SWMS
- Experience in the management of variations and associated costs
- An understanding of Telstra network data bases Netmaps (GDD), NPAMS, TPD (Multi man & Track) would be an advantage
- Current General Industry OH&S Induction card
- Current, valid driver's licence
- Computer literate: Adept at the use of PC, iPad and associated software system. PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc
