Key Account Manager

The **Key Account Manager **role is to manage and serve as the liaison between Wahl and its key Australian and New Zealand customers by addressing needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner to effectively develop and maintain strong relationships.
**_ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_**
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship with a portfolio of key clients
- Acquire a thorough understanding of customers' needs and requirements.
- Expand the relationships with existing key customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as a link of communication between customers and the internal Wahl teams.
- Resolving key client issues and challenges
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Strategic planning to improve client results.
- In collaboration with the Sales Manager and Managing Director ANZ, negotiate contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance.
- Working with Wahl internal stakeholders including design, customer service, logistics, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met.
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management.
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
- All other duties as requested or delegated.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:_**
- Min 3 years' experience in account management/sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
- Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts.
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account.
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
- Collaborative and open work style, a team player.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:_**
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field
- Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
- Intermediate computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
