Long standing not-for-profit seeks full time, permanent receptionist
- Office based role, working Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
- A close knit, supportive, experienced team await
Long standing, recognised Not-for-profit is seeking a full time receptionist to take on this permanent opportunity in Toorak.
Whilst the role contains a lot of the traditional receptionist responsibilities, it also encompasses some more unique aspects too, making it quite an interesting opportunity
It is as much a coordination role as it is a front desk position.
This role is
**office based in Toorak**, and working hours are
**Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm.**
There is
**free onsite parking **available.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Overseeing the front desk, greeting all visitors
- General administration tasks as required
- Manage all mail in/out
- Liaise with suppliers and onsite contractors
- Receive, process and take payments for events and facility bookings
- Update event organisers etc on attendees and requests
- Use onsite booking system and MS Excel to manage bookings and event registrations
- Oversee onsite merchandise purchases and complete annual stocktake
- Receive and process payments received from merch sales and other facilities
- End of day and end of week reconciliations and invoicing
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience in a reception role essential
- Exposure to managing bookings beneficial
- Confident using MS Office Suite and other software
- A hardworking, motivated approach to work
- An ability to build relationships and communicate professionally
- A friendly, welcoming, mature and positive approach
