**About the Role**

As we continue to build upon our success, an exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Fundraising Coordinator to join our school community.

The Fundraising Coordinator is a newly established and vital role within the St Catherine’s School Advancement team. Reporting to the Advancement Manager, the Fundraising Coordinator will support the St Catherine’s Foundation fundraising initiatives. This will involve assisting in planning, organising, and executing fundraising annual appeals, capital campaigns, and donor related activities to ensure philanthropic growth of our Foundation Membership.

This position requires a strategic, creative, and highly organised professional who can engage with donors and assist with campaign strategies, to ensure the successful achievement of fundraising goals.

Due to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work will be required, particularly during fundraising events.

**To be successful in this opportunity you will require**:

- Proven experience in an Advancement or Fundraising role.
- Experience in capital campaign fundraising support, bequests and major gifts fundraising is desirable.
- High-level interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people (essential).
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong and positive working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, and an ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in donor database software, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience with Synergetic preferred (but not essential).
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends.
- Experience supporting end-to-end donor related events.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
