Coast Transport Services Pty Ltd (T/A Central Coast Taxis) provides a customer oriented 24/7 taxi service for residents and visitors to the district, which spans some 1800 square kilometres from the Hawkesbury River to Catherine Hill Bay and the hinterland.

Our fleet consists of over 60 taxis including but not limited to wheelchair accessible (WAT) and maxi taxis, which are a huge success on the Central Coast. Wherever possible we offer passengers a choice of vehicle options for their transport requirements. All vehicles are equipped with modern communications and navigational systems.

We are currently recruiting a Fleet and Network Manager to join our team and assist to enhance and deliver on our operations across the Central Coast.

The position is full-time and is based at our location in West Gosford, NSW.

**About the role**

As the Fleet Network administrator, you will be responsible for the management and operation of a fleet of taxis, ensuring that they are efficiently utilised, well-maintained, and provide high-quality service to customers. you will oversee the operations and development of a taxi network, ensuring its efficient functioning and growth. You will be responsible for managing relationships with taxi companies, drivers, and technology partners.

**Key Responsibilities**

The role of **Network Manager** will include the following job requirements;
- **Network Operations**:

- Monitor network
- Coordinate taxi drivers to ensure smooth operation of the network.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for network operations, including dispatch protocols, driver onboarding, and customer support processes.
- **Technology Integrations**:

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology platforms used for dispatching, tracking, and managing taxi rides.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the network’s technological infrastructure.

The role of **Fleet Manager** will include the following job requirements;
- **Fleet Management**:

- Monitor fleet performance metrics such as utilisation rates and maintenance costs
- Implement strategies to optimise fleet utilization and minimise downtime.
- **Driver Management**:

- Preparation and dissemination of driver rosters
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- **Regulatory Compliance**_:_
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards for taxis and drivers.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to regulatory compliance.
- **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the budget for the taxi fleet, including expenses such as fuel, maintenance, and personnel costs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability without compromising service quality.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers to schedule routine maintenance and repairs.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and extend the lifespan of vehicles.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the taxi industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, staff, and customers.
- Sound knowledge of local regulations and licensing requirements for taxis and drivers.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

**Length of Experience**

2 years minimum experience in Fleet and Network Administration
