Coast Transport Services Pty Ltd (T/A Central Coast Taxis) provides a customer oriented 24/7 taxi service for residents and visitors to the district, which spans some 1800 square kilometres from the Hawkesbury River to Catherine Hill Bay and the hinterland.

Our fleet consists of over 60 taxis including but not limited to wheelchair accessible (WAT) and maxi taxis, which are a huge success on the Central Coast. Wherever possible we offer passengers a choice of vehicle options for their transport requirements. All vehicles are equipped with modern communications and navigational systems.

Coast Transport Services Pty Ltd (T/A Central Coast Taxis) has always endeavoured to deliver quality service to our customers. We do this through our network of enthusiastic and passionate team members.

We are currently recruiting an Accounts Officer to join our team and assist to enhance and deliver on our operations across the Central Coast.

The position is part-time (3 days a week) and is based at our location in West Gosford, NSW.

**About the role**

As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the company. Your role involves maintaining accurate financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilties**
- **Financial Transactions**:

- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, and receipts, maintaining accurate records via software or spreadsheets.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process DVA dockets and complete all necessary invoicing and paperwork.
- Process and reconcile individual and customer accounts e.g., NRMA.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
- Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time, working closely with accountants, external tax advisors as necessary.
- Maintain records and documentation related to tax compliance, including tax filings and correspondence with the ATO.
- **Audit Support**:

- Maintain audit trails and provide documentation to assist with internal and external audits, and support as required.
- Ensure compliance with audit recommendations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- **Customer Service**:

- Ensure that supplier enquiries, complaints, and feedback are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the transportation or taxi industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software including XERO and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.

**Length of Experience**

2 years minimum experience in Accounts Administration
