Strategic Partnerships Lead - Home Energy Transitions

The Strategic Partnerships Lead is responsible for building and maintaining key strategic relationships across the Australian electrification market. In particular, this individual would tap into their expertise and network to lead the development of new channels and partnerships to explore, incubate and scale our Electrification & Innovation products.

This role is key in building AGL’s brand as a leader within Australia's electrification agenda.

This role sits within an E&I Value Stream which is responsible for the end-to-end incubation and commercial scaling of products that attract new and existing customers to decarbonise the way they live.

About the role:
- Establish and maintain a database of channels and partnerships to contribute to the development of the strategy for expanding AGL’s partnerships and channels-to-market to service the B2B, B2C, and B2B2C segments.- Proactively identify potential opportunities to engage with existing and new external stakeholders, collaborating with the Growth Manager, Product Leads and other individuals across AGL.- Lead and manage the negotiations of contract terms with partners and channels, including assisting in the drafting and renewals of contracts.- Build relationships with strategic OEM manufacturers, aligning on their product roadmaps to ensure compatibility with E&I’s product portfolio.- Track associated monetised and non-monetised benefits of partnerships to evaluate the value of growing, sustaining or reducing ongoing engagement with partners.- Keep up to date with industry developments, including government policies on home electrification, technology developments and competitor dynamics.- Work closely across cross-functional teams to maximise opportunities for promoting AGL in the electrification market and translate these into action.

About you:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) managing strategic partnerships, procurement, and/or vendor management within a fast-paced environment.- Deep knowledge of the electrification landscape and key players in Australia and/or globally.- A natural communicator and persuasive storyteller - can speak the language of product, data, design, marketing, and operations.- Strong project management skills and can prioritise and manage strategic partnerships associated with multiple products simultaneously to deliver impactful outcomes.- Agility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- A results-oriented mindset, with a proven history of achieving growth targets and KPIs.
