In this newly created role of Business Operations Coordinator you will:

- Deliver high quality advice and coordination support to the team and Director on a range of topics within critical timeframes.
- Provide effective liaison and consultation with internal stakeholders for a high volume of requests for information and guidance.
- Managing the diary of the Director, including scheduling, negotiating appointments and meetings and organising associated and supporting documentation
- Coordinate effective meetings by organising and collating meeting agendas and documentation, providing confidential minute taking and coordinating follow up actions.
- Develop positive relationships with the team and internal stakeholders to gain support and promote understanding of the program of works to be delivered.
- Establish reporting practices on a range of programs of work and keep the Director and team informed on progress and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and emerging issues for internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake research and analysis of information relevant to allocated projects or programs of work.
- Support and help the team to maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
- Plan and coordinate the teams travel activities in conjunction with the QRA Travel Coordinator for QRA wide programs of work and in disaster management response periods.
- Prepare submissions, reports and correspondence on sensitive and diverse issues as required.
- Ensure the efficient management of the team's correspondence by immediately directing high priority issues, with accompanying relevant background information, to the appropriate officer for action and act as a contact person for the team for information about the progress of correspondence.
- Participate as part of a cohesive, high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged.
