**About**:
My client is one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing commercial real estate financiers. They manage several billion dollars of capital for institutional and private investors.

Due to continued business growth, my client is looking to appoint a Relationship Associate to their growing Institutional Capital Team.

The objective of this role is to be the key point of contact for the fund's most important institutional investors. This involves managing the successful placement and allocation of commercial real estate loans to their institutional investor clients. This will also involve contributing to deal structuring, pricing, negotiation, and addressing investor risks/concerns.

You will also work collaboratively with the funds' portfolio management, investment, marketing and risk teams.

**Upon successful hire, you will**:

- Develop strategies to ensure successful placement and allocation of loans to our global institutional investor clients.
- Influence investment teams to ensure focussed deal origination and execution, which meets client needs and outperforms return targets.
- Credibly represent the views and investment objectives of projects or products to influence decisions.
- Ensure individual client relationship management strategies are in place for defined prospects and clients.
- Support marketing initiatives, including investor events, presentations, and engagements.
- Compile and share industry knowledge and market intelligence.
- Negotiate and influence the investment decisions of our global institutional investor clients.
- Contribute to round table discussions to influence deal structuring and pricing.
- Work collaboratively with the portfolio management team to monitor investment performance.
- Communicate proactively on mandate performance, issues or risks.
- Manage ESG requirements of each client, including ESG Questionnaires for each deal, periodic ESG reviews, and ESG due diligence questions on the fund.
- Continuously improve investment teams understanding and alignment with client.
- Maintain oversight of investor reporting to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Manage all mandate review requirements.
- Support due diligence of new institutional investors.
- Assist with the management of ESG Product Launch and associated reporting requirements.
- A relevant Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business (finance-related discipline)
- 4-6 years experience in Funds Management or Finance Services (Banks, Financial Institutions, Private Investment Firms / Groups or related professions)
- Strong financial acumen
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Good lateral thinker able to develop solutions
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to plan effectively and take accountability for delivering results
- Strong attention to detail
