**What you’ll do**:
Over the first 6 months you will:
- Drive recruitment efforts across the agency for Sydney & Vancouver:
- Continue to build out our ATS, Ashby, and best practices / process for the platform
- Grow talent pools
- Support the team with JD writing and role reviews before advertising them in the market
- Reference Check
- Present key insights to the LT team to keep them informed of hiring
- Conduct a full audit of our people function, processes and policies with the support of our Talent & Culture Specialist, with the end goal being a structured department:
- Review all HR paperwork, including global policies, employment contracts, employee letters, championing changes as you see fit
- Check all existing workflows and processes that we have in place with recommendations for improvements
- Understand what employee benefits we offer through learning and development, tenure milestone awards, and monthly traditions, making recommendations to update
- Evaluate employee engagement and retention rates
- Deep dive into our recruitment function and processes, including onboarding & offboarding, tweaking as required
- Assess how HR & Talent requests are received, escalation points, and who needs to be across which coms, and then introduce a streamlined process
- Document all processes
- Collaborate with leaders, creating and executing people plans and strategies that align with business objectives and promote a high performing, engaged workforce:
- Gather data to back your HR strategies and initiatives
- Utilise surveys or interviews across the business and determine any areas for improvement
- Diagnose any problems, current or potential future concerns, defining the work or activities that can solve these problems
- Establish skills gaps, and work with the Talent & Culture Specialist to establish a new L&D offering for the team, as well as creating L&D plans for our employees that supports their growth whilst helping us achieve our business goals
- Identify target culture and define the steps required to reach it
- Gather feedback on your proposed strategy, making adjustments as needed
- Utilise data to make tweaks to your proposed strategy if required
- Lead, and grow the People Department inline with DIJGTAL’s expansion:
- Manage our existing Talent & Culture Specialist, being the escalation point for issues as they arise, whilst supporting her ongoing growth
- Together, run new and innovative people centric projects and initiatives, such as mapping out the employee journey, succession planning and the creation of an EVP
- Hire additional team members when it makes sense to extract yourself from the day to day detail
Ongoing:
- Influence and partner with business leaders at all levels of the organisation
- Work closely with the wider creative and marketing teams on social posts that highlight our people and culture
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to management and your team with regards to best practices, employee relations and equal and inclusive treatment between the teams
- Review your people strategy regularly and make adjustments as needed
- Be the escalation point for our Talent & Culture Specialist with regards to all HR, employee relations, payroll and talent queries, and our Digital Concierge for culture initiatives
- Work with our Talent & Culture Specialist to evolve our performance review process
- Research employment trends and proactively share information with the hiring managers on a regular basis
- Support with our annual internship programme as needed

- Flexibility, and a competitive package
- Fun, casual, energy rich, culturally diverse, and COVID-safe creative workspace in the heart of Sydney CBD
- An opportunity to push the envelope, safely make mistakes, and learn from them
