About the Role
Each week we discuss projects prioritised by the business that need to be investigated, scoped, developed and implemented by members of the National Support Team either autonomously, with other team members or as part of a broader business project team.
**The Role will Involve**:
- Supporting the National Sales team with existing or prospective customer requirements.
- Generating rates and coordination for national opportunities and existing customers.
- Maintaining excel registers relating to obligations for national customers.
- Controlling rate card versions and contracted uprates for national customers.
- Coordinating account setups & modifications with state sales admin teams.
- Analysing data from or for national customers in excel to provide basic insights.
- Running cyclical & adhoc reports for national customers (KPI, commercial etc).
- Creating new sales material and keeping existing materials standardised and updated.
- Troubleshooting and investigating issues related to national clients.
- Auditing existing documentation and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Utilising the CRM to gather customer or activity information.
- Learning and developing new skills with the National Support team.
- Administration and support of various internal and external systems.
- Documenting SOPs for any new processes.
- Optimising existing processes and always seeking to improve how we do business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Moderate computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, formatting, etc)
- Desire and capacity to learn Excel and how to analyse data.
Beneficial Skills but not mandatory
- Moderate (or better) Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables & visualisations)
- Moderate Power BI skills (data visualisation, DAX measures & relational models)
- Basic SQL skills & database knowledge (select queries, joins & aggregations)
- Tertiary Qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
