
National Account Manager- Bunnings

As a **National Account Manager (Bunnings)** based in **Clayton, Victoria**, you will report to the Channel Business Manager. You will create profitable organic sales growth for Bunnings Australia and help the Channel Business Manager align the Retail Sales Team’s activities around target achievement and Team Member engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with the Brand Manager(s) on ranging opportunities that protect existing market share, expand into product/category adjacencies, and identify innovative growth opportunities within core categories.
- Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to identify retail activities and related toolkits/ instructions to support the Field Team.
- Work with the Channel Business Manager and Channel Marketing Manager to provide clear monthly briefs on upcoming events/ promotions.
- Attend weekly Pulse meetings and provide support for the field Sales team.
- Undertake store and channel analysis. Identify underperforming lines and provide recommendations to increase sales growth.
- Regularly visit stores and provide feedback and opportunities for improvement.
- Support new store openings, store upgrades, and relays.
- Maintain a rolling 12-month promotional calendar for all Bunnings' activities including catalog, Spring and Summer activities, Expo, Roadshows, etc.
- Coordinate store allocation quantities for the 6L Promotional line.
- Write and gain approval for regular Merchandise Bulletins for Buyer approval to be distributed through the store network.
- Attend and support execution of Bunnings Roadshow, Expo, and in-store activations events.
- Support the Demand process for the Bunnings account in Australia with a view to continuously improving forecast accuracy 3+ months out. Work with the Demand Analyst to incorporate promotional activities into Forecasts.
- Analyse Bunnings sales & inventory data to ensure the correct stock intensity is always maintained in the Bunnings network.
- To secure profitable sales growth & improve business position & market share for PPG through the Bunnings Trade Channel.
- Develop a close working relationship with Buyer and Buyer’s Assistant.
- Maintain a regular program of relationship-building events outside normal working hours.
- Establish and maintain a safe work environment.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of National Account experience.
- Experience working in the hardware/coatings industry is beneficial.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Marketing.
- Proven track record in being results-driven, customer-focused, and strategic thinking.
