Axent is a niche turnkey provider of essential government based products and services Australia wide.

Axent is a Melbourne based, world class electronics manufacturer on the global stage. With wholly Australian owned manufacturing facilities in both Melbourne and Gold Coast, our craft is manufacturing the highest quality industrial electronic devices and providing technical field support.

You will assist in the sales, tendering and marketing of Axent products across Australia and the world. Liaising with high profile clients, both in government and private sectors.

**Role**
- Approaching and acquiring new customers
- Coordinate social media marketing campaigns
- Achieving KPI’s and set company goals
- Administer all sales enquiries entailing quotation & tender preparation
- Assist with the development of tender proposals ensuring submissions are accurate and compliant.
- Direct selling to governments, councils and private industries.
- Preparation of quotations.
- Conducting market research and actively prospecting for new business opportunities.
- Following up on contracts and quotes.
- Develop marketing strategies.
- Establishing new client relationships.
- Overseeing price reviews.
- Research competitors.
- Monitoring & forecasting sales, advertising and attending industry conferences.
- Researching and attending trade shows both locally and overseas.

**Key skills and experience**
- Good communication skills are a must
- Reliable and punctual
- Understanding and working with social media platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- High proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Must be able to independently manage their time and tasks
- Experience with online tendering (Not essential)
- Hold current drivers' license
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete tasks at 100%

- Competent with MS Office suite of products
- Competent with using social media platforms
- Australia Citizenship

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus

- Clayton VIC 3168: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

- 50% (required)
