**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will provide advice on current **best practice** corporate **governance** requirements and practices, directors ‘duties, board reporting and proper meeting procedures, ensuring **high quality** documents are prepared to support good governance including minutes, agendas, and other essential records.
**DEMONSTRATED SKILLS/QUALIFCIATIONS**:
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Law, Corporate Governance, Business Administration, or a related field ideally with a relevant post-graduate, qualification in corporate governance.
- You must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Company Secretary, preferably with experience in the healthcare and/or aged care fields.
- Experience working with Boards and senior management.
- Sound knowledge of the legislative framework surrounding legal obligations of the role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail orientated.
- Compliance with the organisation's COVID - 19 Vaccination Policy and Workforce Immunisation Program for Vaccine Preventable Diseases (essential)
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (essential)
