MAYDAY is excited to be recruiting a
**Markets Operation And Customer Experience Officer for the NSW Government** located in
**The Rocks, Sydney CBD.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support with the delivery of each weekend event in the Rocks Markets including managing contractors, market traders and entertainers
- Support in the day-to-day management of the online booking system, resolving any issues or queries
- Manage the day-to-day administration associated with the delivery of Markets including Trader correspondence, stall allocations and offers, and financial reporting
- Identify and resolve any issues during daily running of the markets to maximise public safety, trading and customer experience.
- Contribute to the delivery of Marketing activities, ensuring excellence for all programs across these events
- Contribute to the delivery of a high level of customer experience initiatives
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in retail and share findings to identify and develop new customer experience/ retail initiatives
- Plan and prioritise workload to manage conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
- Effectively support with managing internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve commercial goal outcomes.

**You will need**:

- Previous experience in events planning/ coordination
- Exposure to fast paced environments and ability to work proactively
