**The role**
As the Business Development Executive, you will grow sales in across the Queensland region, through developing your pipeline, booking appointments with businesses and making client visits. You will also follow up on internal sales leads to convert enquiries into sales.

Your prospective client base will be procurement and purchasing departments / buyers of corporate merchandise.

Duties include:

- Meeting sales/ revenue budgets through targeting the corporate sector;
- Understand the market through research and working closely with the sales manager to understand the sales strategy;
- Make appointments through lead generation and follow up on incoming leads;
- Attend sales appointments / online meetings with your potential clients;
- Convert sales to generate revenue;
- Onboarding customers for successful first order in partnership with internal account management team;
- Involved in tenders as and when required;
- Updating the CRM system and managing your own pipleline;
**Successful applicants**
We are looking for people with the following:

- Proven track record of managing long sales cycles;
- A tenacious approach to sales, challenge accepted
- Previous experience selling to corporate business is essential;
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills;
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding targets;
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- able to communicate at all levels
- Previous experience with tenders would be highly advantageous but not essential

**Other Benefits**: You will be provided with an excellent base salary - $80K + (Plus super, vehicle and bonus structure)

Package $110 - $120k
