Project Support Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Support Officer for a 3 month assignment for a Council in Regional Queensland.
The Position: You will be required to provide technical, financial, administrative and project support to Council's infrastructure department.
Responsibilities- Provide high level project and/or contract administration within Local Government or Civil Engineering environments.
- Manage project scheduling with the ability to track performance and communicate progress through reports and updates.
- Monitor performance of expenses and revenues against budgets.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage competing priorities within set deadlines.
- Interpret policies, procedures and other relevant legislation accurately.
- Utilise strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suites.
- Communicate effectively through oral and written communication.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be willing to work away from home for the length of the assignment.
Hourly rate is negotiable. Self-contained accommodation will be provided for the duration of the assignment and travel expenses will be covered at the beginning and end of the assignment.
