We are working with a government department in a search for a Project Support Officer for a 12-month contract with an extension option of 12-months. The role will start on 3rd of October and will be based in Sunshine Coast. In this role, you will manage the project activities to support the project manager and contribute to business unit improvement projects.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Identifying and recommending changes to existing practices and procedures, and developing and managing new systems to support consistency across the region.
- Manage the project activities including industry briefings, risk workshops, training activities, etc.
- Review and analyse incoming and outgoing project correspondence and documentation.
- Promote best practice project management support approaches and a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all project support activities are undertaken in line with relevant guidelines, policies and protocols.
- Lead and prioritise the combining of procurement activities to provide efficiencies to the engagement of project resources.
- Assist with the preparation of offer documents for major tenders.
- Arrange and assist with Recruitment & HR activities as directed.
- Assist with development of Project Proposal Reports and Project Plan.
- Ensure Project Reports and Plans are developed and submitted.
- Previous experience working with 3PCM and understanding of respective delivery frameworks and applicable agency requirements are desirable.
