Overview

Join to apply for the L1 + L2 IT Helpdesk Support role at DWS.

DWS is seeking a full-time L1 + L2 IT Helpdesk Support specialist to join our national internal IT function. Start date: Immediately (max 2 weeks notice). Location: Melbourne CBD. Style: Hybrid; approx. 2-3 days per week in the CBD office + work from home (WFH).

Responsibilities
  • Resolve first-line L1 issues and assist with some L2 issues
  • Manage and administer Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
  • Support the Microsoft environment, addressing general technical needs and challenges
  • IT hardware (staff laptops) and software installations
  • Manage new starter and leaver IT processes
  • Organise and coordinate building security access
  • Escalate to second-line support (L2) as required
  • Other tasks as allocated by Head of IT or Executive team
Ideal Applicant
  • Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
  • Approximately 2+ years of 1st line L1 IT Helpdesk experience
  • Some more complex L2 helpdesk exposure
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop and server platforms, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, Teams (including Teams calling)
  • Preferably experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure, Intune and Networking (Firewall, Routers, switches, VPN technologies)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus with a "Can Do" attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for IT
