DWS are seeking a full time IT Helpdesk Support specialist to join out national internal IT function.
We are looking for someone who with around 2 years of L1 helpdesk experience - some L2 exposure would be beneficial, but is not required
You'll need to be very self-motivated and keen work in a fast paced, stimulating, and challenging corporate environment. With strong organisational skills and an extremely high focus on providing outstanding customer service, you will be helping to support our employees nationally – working in a small but dedicated internal IT team.
Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency (PR), or other permanent work rights – DWS are unable to sponsor or support visas
Start: ASAP / Immediately
Location: Melbourne CBD
Style: Hybrid; approx. 2-3 days a week in the CBD office work from home (WFH)
Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: up to $80K package (including super), depending on experience
Duties will include:
- Resolving level 1 issues
- Manage and administer Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID [formerly Azure Active Directory]
- Supporting Microsoft environment, addressing general technical needs and challenges
- IT hardware (staff laptops) and software installations
- Managing the new starter and leaver IT processes
- Organising and coordinating building security access
- Escalating to second line support (L2) as required
- Other tasks as allocated by Head of IT or Executive team
- Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
- Approximately 2 years of 1st line IT Helpdesk experience
- Some L2 exposure would be great, but is not required
- Knowledge of various Windows desktop and server platforms, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, Teams (including teams calling)
- Preferably experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure, Intune and Networking (Firewall, Routers, switches VPN technologies)
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- A very customer service focused 'Can Do' attitude
- The ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
