DWS are seeking a full time
L1 + L2 IT Helpdesk Support
specialist to join out national internal IT function.

We are looking for someone with around
2+ years of L1 helpdesk experience with some L2 exposure
.

You'll need to be very self-motivated and keen work in a fast paced, stimulating, and challenging corporate environment. With strong organisational skills and an
extremely high focus on providing outstanding customer service
, you will be helping to support our employees nationally - working in a small but dedicated internal IT team.

Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency (PR), or other permanent work rights - DWS are unable to sponsor or support visas
Start:
Immediately (max 2 weeks notice)

Location:
Melbourne CBD

Style
: Hybrid; approx. 2-3 days a week in the CBD office + work from home (WFH)

Type:
Full time, permanent

Salary:
up to $88K package (including super), depending on experience

Duties Will Include

  • Resolving first line L1 issues, assisting with some L2 issues
  • Manage and administer Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID [formerly Azure Active Directory]
  • Supporting Microsoft environment, addressing general technical needs and challenges
  • IT hardware (staff laptops) and software installations
  • Managing the new starter and leaver IT processes
  • Organising and coordinating building security access
  • Escalating to second line support (L2) specialist as required
  • Other tasks as allocated by Head of IT or Executive team

Ideal Applicant

  • Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
  • Approximately 2+ years of 1st line L1 IT Helpdesk experience
  • Some more complex L2 helpdesk exposure
  • Knowledge of various Windows desktop and server platforms, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, Teams (including teams calling)
  • Preferably experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure, Intune and Networking (Firewall, Routers, switches VPN technologies)
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • A very customer service focused 'Can Do' attitude
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for IT
