Overview

Accounts Management Officer - Perpetual Corporate Trust at Perpetual Limited. 12 Month Max Term Contract | Based in Sydney. Client-centric culture with flexible, hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Perpetual Corporate Trust bank account opening and closure requests
  • Manage and resolve all account/user/transaction related queries with Perpetual Corporate Trust banking partners
  • Manage user setups in various internal and external systems
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems; both electronic and paper-based format
  • Build effective relationships with clients and act upon client instructions within required timeframes (SLAs)
  • Respond to client enquiries relating to services, financial products, fees and conditions
  • Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements
  • Use initiative, work with deadlines and perform tasks with high level of accuracy
  • Communicate effectively on issues to Senior Management and ensure proper and timely follow-up
  • Provide guidance and support, act as resource and assist team members from multiple operational areas
About you
  • Minimum 2-3 years\' experience in Financial Services, preferably in a similar role
  • Previous experience with accounts administration including opening and closing bank accounts (highly desirable)
  • Experience with online banking user administration (highly desirable)
  • Experience with onboarding and offboarding clients (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC activities in the financial services industry is advantageous (highly desirable)
  • Excellent client management and relationship management skills
  • Experience with foreign currency transactions, global payment formatting, domestic banking platforms, RTGS
  • Knowledge of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes and legislation
