About the Role
Fixed Term opportunity until 3 April 2026
The Coordinator, Asset Management Office will be responsible for whole-of-life planning, condition assessment, data management, end of life evaluation and decommissioning planning, in line with the Victorian Government Asset Management Framework (AMAF) legislation. The position will translate FRV's strategic objectives into day-to-day asset management activities and promote the asset management function across FRV.
- Assist with the project management of the asset management improvement program for FRV, including arranging and holding meetings, managing communications, stakeholder management, program development and reporting.
- Assist with the development and approval of key asset management system documentation.
- Support the development, management and maintenance of asset management plans and any related asset management documents for all FRV asset classes.
- Develop, manage and maintain asset management data, standards, processes for all FRV asset classes.
- Support the development and coordination of new, renewal and upgrade asset programs and budgets.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A relevant qualification in information technology, engineering or a relevant discipline is desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of asset management principles and knowledge.
- Experience in gathering, analysing and recommending asset management standards, process flow, data needs and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in translating complex asset data into simple, usable, quality data input and management using IT systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to prepare high quality reports.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work productively with stakeholders at all levels.

FRV's standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
