As Sales Director, you'll lead the charge in driving commercial success within your division. Your key responsibilities will revolve around formulating and executing a compelling go-to-market strategy, overseeing a team of sales professionals to secure new clients while nurturing existing relationships for growth. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring robust execution across our product offerings and fostering enduring partnerships with customers, industry peers, and stakeholders throughout the value chain. This role can be based Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the divisional sales teams and drive commercial success

• Define and deliver a compelling GTM vision and strategy for the division

• Drive strong execution building new customer accounts, customer expansion, retention, and delivering growth across the product portfolio

• Lead a rigorous data-driven sales rhythm – forecasting, demand generation, opportunity progression, account planning, account review to drive selling

• Own the customer relationship via the sales teams and bring the best of the organisation to the customer

• Lead in driving alignment and prioritisation across divisional leadership and all parts of the organisation to enable customer outcomes

• Engage with industry professionals, partners, and others in the customer value chain

• Drive revenue synergies from future acquisitions

• Develop and coach a high performing team with a growth mindset

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience as a commercial leader with a proven track record of delivering tangible business results and fostering growth. Your ability to lead and develop high-performing teams will be crucial, supported by your analytical prowess and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience in engaging with C-level customers and leading customer-facing initiatives is essential, alongside excellent communication abilities and a knack for influencing stakeholders across all levels.

Ideal Candidate:


• Significant experience as a commercial leader with sales/margin responsibility

• Track record of delivering tangible business results and growth

• Experience in running large sales teams in running a rigorous sales rhythm

• Experience of building and developing high performing teams

• Highly analytical and data driven decision making skills

• Experience in leading a customer-facing business and relationship building with C-level customers

• Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Experience in collaborating with leaders across divisions and wider organisation to deliver on business goals

• Knowledge of sales within application software and services businesses
