Why Your Role Matters:

The Admissions Team Leader plays a key role in the Division of Education and Student Experience, Registrar and Student Services (RaSS) portfolio and is responsible for the operational management of applications and admissions for several university faculties.

Who You Are:

To be successful you will need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and 5 years' experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and experience
  • Proven ability to train and develop staff to deliver a high level of service, to lead and motivate a team, and influence staff that are not direct reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior experience successfully dealing with a variety of stakeholders from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
  • Highly developed customer service skills with an innovative approach to go the extra mile.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an organised, accurate manner with excellent attention to detail and experience with large-volume and peak processing periods/workflows
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases (e.g. CRM, student management systems).
  • Demonstrated capacity to contribute positively to and accept change in a dynamic working environment.
