This role will:

  • Respond to standard admissions enquiries across a range of channels, utilising provided resources and according to instructions, to provide good customer service and clear and accurate information
  • Process and issue Confirmation of Enrolment forms for international students
  • Use the University's student administration system and other office software to undertake a range of tasks, including collecting and maintaining data, generating reports and routine correspondence
  • Carry out basic administrative duties (scanning)
  • Verification of academic documents
  • Escalate complex cases to the Admissions Team Leader and/or Admissions Operations Manager
  • Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.

A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:

  • Associate Diploma with relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in conjunction with excellent organisational, customer service and administration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail and effectively in a team environment
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
