About this role

What you'll be doing:

  • Be prospecting, developing, and closing new Udemy for Business platform customers in the midmarket sector across Australia and SEA
  • Develop and execute on account plans to deliver on revenue goals
  • Create and deliver sales forecasts, updates and share best practices with the rest of Sales
  • Sell the Udemy for Business vision to midmarket institutions.
  • Coordinate and work crossfunctionally with the Udemy for Business team (Marketing, Product, Customer Success, key executives) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention


In the first month, you will assimilate learning from various sources on your territory, role, company, product, best practices and get to know the team.


In the next few months, you will focus on building a pipeline for the next 2 quarters, achieve your first quarterly goal, make progress towards making Udemy for Business the e-learning provider of choice in your territory by the end of year 1.


What you'll have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of closing experience with ontarget, midmarket SaaS sales experience or equivalent
  • A motivated, overachieving "hunter and closer" mindset. Someone who flourishes in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • A consultative approach and understanding of complex organisational structures
  • Enjoy working with customers who are growing and experiencing change and working with them through that process
  • A proven track record of selling licenses/products/subscriptions that address the issues and challenges of midmarket industries.
  • Experience negotiating business terms with key midmarket decisionmakers, senior management and critical executives
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills
  • A selfdriven, proactive approach
