Your SocialChef is a social media advertising, SMM management, and communications agency. We develop innovative and strategic campaigns. We are fortunate to work for great clients. Our staff is comprised of exceptionally talented team members who bring these clients' meaningful messages to life.

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Social Media and Influencer Marketing team.

The Project Coordinator role controls large portions of the daily activities of all assigned client work for the Social Media and Influencer Marketing team, ensuring schedules are maintained, deadlines are met, and agency hours are properly utilized and appropriately allocated for each client project.


This position is responsible for the status of assigned jobs at all times, creates reporting structures to keep the agency team and clients informed as seen by the Social Media and Influencer Marketing team, and ensures all work has been appropriately reviewed before client delivery through creative, editing and discipline leads.

The Project Coordinator is fundamentally responsible for the execution and implementation of the agency account management process through internal resources.

Become the "Go-To" resource for clients, contractors, and leadership. This position will evolve into a leadership position in the operations department of Your SocialChef. We are looking for a hungry individual looking to establish themselves in a growing digital agency. This position will become the future Chief Operating Officer over time.

IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS:

  • Proactively manage client communications and expectation levels. All Your SocialChef clients are sold a product, meaning we deliver the product as it is described to the client.
  • Although they are sold a predefined product we expect the project coordinator to be proactive in their communications and service level support to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
  • Be willing to assist the director (Mark) in his day to day activities to ensure his times are utilized as efficiently as possible.
  • The goal is to remove Mark from all projectbased tasks, communications and deliverables.
  • Supports the daily activity of all assigned jobs/projects by monitoring and communicating project status and ensuring the team (including all agency services) has all the necessary information and assets.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Keeps uptodate schedules, workflows, status reports, etc., and manages and maintains project management tools.
  • Works with teams to confirm specs, closing dates and extensions as needed to execute, complete, and submit social media and influencer marketing deliverables per the requirements of the project.
  • Fosters collaboration among team members.
  • Ensures all team members are included and appropriately engaged.
  • Effectively communicates project requirements to the appropriate teammates.
  • Ensures all work has been appropriately reviewed internally before presentation to the client.
  • Documents meetings and takes notes to share with the team.
  • Checks all materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Be willing to gain a deep understanding of the Your SocialChef product line. All aspects of our product line will be the responsibility of the project coordinator position. The project coordinator position is responsible for controlling project scope creep, quality assurance and client communications as it pertains to Your SocialChef product line. We highly recommend in their spare time to study social media marketing and influencer marketing to further their careers with Your SocialChef.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Social Media and Influencer Marketing team as requested.
  • Anticipate and/or find ways to assist with ongoing projects. Remain proactive in all communications and client expectation levels.
  • Controls scheduling for internal crossdepartment meetings for client work.
  • Partner with all departments to ensure all work is done on time, on strategy, and on budget.
  • Help develop strategies and organizational plans for effective work.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Be a champion and student of the client's business and goals.
  • Defend teams against unrealistic expectations, offers solutions for adjustments. Escalate all unrealistic expectation levels to the director (Mark) for further review.
  • Being a fastpaced social media company requires the ability to remain calm during tense times and to understand that at all times it is about the team. Meaning if a situation appears to be getting out of control, bring Mark in ASAP at first to assist.
  • Over time we will expect the Project Coordinator position to handle upwards of 8090% of all of the tense situations that arise from Social Media Management.
