The Opportunity

This is a 12-Month Parental Leave Fixed Term Contract. The purpose of this position is to support the business as it sets up its new Licensed division, ensuring Commercial Finance processes are in place, and business partner the Licenced Sales team across a wide range of activities, in addition to providing commercial and analytical support and ad hoc project work to the Commercial Finance Director.

This role will be responsible for providing commercial advice and guidance to the newly created Licenced Sales team, driving better commercial decision making. It also supports forecasting and tracking sales performance, gross to net analysis and ad-hoc commercial support.

The position will need to build a team of three Commercial Manager direct reports to support delivery of the job purpose.

  • Licensed/Alcohol industry experience (Mandatory)
  • The ability to lead teams and manage change
  • An exceptional business partner with the ability to influence sales through the use of insights
  • Prior experience business partnering with sales/commercial teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with robust communication skills and the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strategic/Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • The ability to adapt and be agile in your approach as we embark on our transformation journey toward Suntory Oceania
  • Intellectual curiosity, complimented with the courage to challenge and question for a better outcome, consistently striving for better ways of working
  • CA or CPA Qualifications
