Job Title: Senior Commercial and Contract Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial and Contract Manager to join our team. As a Senior Commercial and Contract Manager, you will offer commercial and contractual expertise to a variety of organisations. Projects range from transport, utilities, and resources through to landmark buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and contractual expertise to clients
  • Manage client relationships and day-to-day needs
  • Lead other team members and manage client teams
  • Mentor junior employees
  • Develop expertise in handling claims and dispute resolution

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years industry experience working for a construction or engineering contractor and/or specialist claims consultancy
  • Project experience is essential
  • Excellent letter and report writing skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to process, model, and present large data sets
  • Capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to cut through the noise and work with a variety of people to achieve the correct outcomes for the client or project
