About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of commercial fit-out and new build projects, including monthly cost reporting to senior level and identifying commercial risk and opportunity within contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize value for the company.
  • Prepare and present commercial reports and analysis to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years post-degree qualification experience working as a contracts administrator.
  • Experience managing sub-contracts and head contracts.
  • Experience working on commercial new build and fit-out projects in Australia, preferably in Sydney.
  • Exposure to industry-leading software such as Cheops, Jobpac, or Procore.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
