About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at ClearCompany. As a key player in Australia's renewable energy landscape, we are developing, building, and owning operating over 18GW of large-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement and contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project-wide value is optimized and delivered on time and on budget.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate commercial risks through effective pricing, contracting, and insurance strategies, documenting the process from drafting to execution.
  • Manage internal teams and act as an interface to external stakeholders, assisting the project director to ensure smooth project construction and successful delivery.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and other project commercial and financial documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Engineering, or related study.
  • Many years of experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure/oil & gas/power projects ($1bn+) from both owners and contractors' sides.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing contracts, budgets, and financial aspects of projects.
  • Well-versed across complex civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
