About the role


You will be responsible for driving the broadband product plan, from ideation to launch and beyond to achieve an ambitious Origin Internet growth target.

Developing and driving delivery of portfolio strategies that meet customer needs, respond to competitive pressures, and deliver on multiple organisational objectives, customer position, profit, and customer satisfaction.


You will have knowledge of the telecommunications industry and develop business and customer strategies to maximise value of the portfolio as we build and transform the Broadband operating model and gain a strong foothold in the telecommunication category.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and optimisation of existing products
  • Development of new products, pricing strategy and supporting go to market strategy
  • Portfolio analytics and performance management to identify risks and opportunities, and subsequently develop product recommendations relating to fees, discounts, and product design.
  • Development and delivery of key product initiatives, proactively engaging relevant stakeholders and influencing change to support product development and portfolio optimisation.
  • Provide customer insights, data insights and competitor insights that inspire product innovation and improvement to customer journeys.
  • Manage and improve portfolio performance ensuring product sales and retention targets are achieved.
  • Ensuring the product pricing and offers are compliant, providing competitive and fair exchange of value with customers.

About you


With a strategic approach, you will have the ability to develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy, this goes hand in hand with a strong customer focus, your deep understanding of our customers, market trends, and the ability to proritise product features based on customer feedback ensures we are meeting our customers needs.


More about you:

  • Strong leadership: Ability to lead crossfunctional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, and make decisions that drive product success.
  • Technical background: Understanding of technology, product development processes, and the ability to work with engineers to define technical requirements.
  • Communication skills: Ability to clearly articulate product vision, goals, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Datadriven: Ability to use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to pivot the product strategy based on market and customer feedback, while balancing shortterm and longterm goals.
