Overview


The primary objective of this role is to provide SME and Technical expertise as a representative of LFS Unit Registry, Fund Accounting, Investment Operations and Performance Analytics, including providing guidance to the operational team, support of new client business and due diligence activities, and involvement in Projects requiring operational input.


Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Represent Link Fund Solutions in the new client business process, from RFI, RFP, Due Diligence through to the onboarding process
  • Provide expert guidance and input on new client business process flows and proposed operating models
  • Provide SME input to Projects team around any existing client initiative, considering impacts to current process and deliverables
  • Provide SME input to Projects team around any legislative change, considering impacts to current process and deliverables
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all current policies and procedures affecting your team to always ensure effective management/utilisation of all resources under your control in an efficient manner
  • Contribute to the review, development and implementation of technologies or work practices where appropriate
  • Assist in the development and management of key internal and external relationships related to your team in a professional manner at all times
  • Assist in the development and training of staff in accordance with operational objectives and core values of Link at all times, contributing to succession planning and individual career development of the staff
  • Participate in various team, project and management meetings as required

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • A minimum of 5 years related industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in/knowledge of the managed funds industry and financial markets
  • Sound motivational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational and problem solving skills
  • General technical competence and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Flexibility able to meet demanding deadlines and work long hours, including weekends, to meet those deadlines, as required
