A Waste Management and Resource Recovery company that creates custom-made and tailored services to its customers for the collection, remediation and disposal of industrial, clinical, chemical and by-product waste in solid, liquid and gaseous forms.

Ensuring that customers are treated with a personal hands-on experience with meticulous planning and execution emphasizes their commitment to exemplary service, environmental remediation and accident-free collections for their customers.

The Position

This company is looking for a National Business Development Manager to join them, working from both their East Melbourne Head Office and also working from home / on-the-road, in an effort to secure and manage new business within the Victoria and wider Australian marketplace:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new and ongoing customers for the business
  • Create bespoke and tailored proposal and tenders for new customers
  • Manage accounts that you have created and increase their spend
  • Be tasked with analytical reporting of the sales process
  • Provide full collaboration with the operations and collections teams

The Benefits

If you are the right person for the role then this company will offer:

  • A salary of between $110k - $120k + Super
  • A car allowance of $15k pa + Toll Tag and Fuel Card (Or $20k pa)
  • A generous bonus scheme worth (in year One) 15% of annual salary (Uncapped)

The Candidate

In order to be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in Waste Management - Managed Services
  • Full compliment of computer skills (MS Word, Excel and CRM platforms)
  • A background in both new business development and account management
  • Excellent relationship development and people skills
  • Is a strong and analytical problem solver
  • Enjoys hunting new business
