About the Company This Australian owned business is growing rapidly with a huge pipeline of work Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their tight knit team and bring on an experienced Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager to help with the growth of the business. The team you will be joining and organisation have a vast knowledge of commercial, industrial and residential plumbing and a collective amount of years experience across all aspects of plumbing, including; maintenance, new builds, design and mining.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a full-time experienced Sales / BDM to join an established team of down to earth good blokes. Reporting directly to the Director who is very hands on and comes with well over a decade of experience himself. You will be working with a team of technicians who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition. This is a newly created role that requires someone who is not afraid of executing ALL sales strategies to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Enhances customer relationship
- Fostering a strong relationship with clients is a pivotal task for a business development manager.
- Formulates business strategies and negotiating and closing business deals accordingly
Skills & experience
- At least 3-4 years experience working successfully as a Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager
- If you have experience in this role within the plumbing industry or construction that would be beneficial.
- Australian Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job
Culture
While the environment is described as cruisy, the whole team "rips in" together to get the job done but has a good time doing it. It's a relaxed environment but everyone works hard and helps each other.
Benefits
Depending on experience, this role comes with a annual salary rate of $90K + Super + vehicle or allowances. There is also potential to earn commissions and grow in the role as well. This is an opportunity to show what you've got and then progress your career
