As the Relationship Manager in our Asset Services, Metering team, you will play a vital role in enhancing profitability and customer satisfaction by managing customer relationships and ensuring contractual compliance for Mondo and its clients.

With a split of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, this position is located in Southbank, with one day a week in Beaconsfield, Victoria, as part of the Asset Services - Metering team.

This role will deliver tangible results, such as:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service and account management to establish and maintain strong, enduring relationships at a senior level with key strategic customers in the metering business.
  • Boosting customer retention rates by effectively overseeing negotiated contracts.
  • Ensuring pertinent customer data is recorded in Salesforce to facilitate contract renewals.
  • Collaborating closely with operational teams to surpass customer expectations and achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Generating revenue growth from Channel Partners, Energy Retailers, and Direct Customers.
  • Negotiating agreements with retailers in accordance with Mondo's pricing strategy.
  • Participating in recurring engagement activities as required by the customer, such as operational and performance reviews, annual evaluations, etc.
  • Addressing client concerns and resolving issues effectively.
  • Monitoring Channel Partner and Energy Retailer performance to identify risk indicators.
  • Gathering customer feedback and insights to support the development of case studies and marketing materials.

You don't have to meet every requirement, but we are looking for a solid mix of:

  • Substantial strategic experience in account and relationship management, preferably within the energy or utilities sector.
  • The ability to work autonomously, solve problems effectively, and demonstrate proactive behavior.
  • Established connections within the industry.
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude to influence and build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Confidence in delivering presentations to small groups and senior leadership.
  • A high level of commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and communication expertise.
  • Occasional interstate travel may be necessary.
