The State Sales Manager will work closely with the leadership team to design and implement business plans and strategies required to achieve partner growth, sales, and retention.

Your strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills will encourage partner and employee engagement for consistent achievement of sales and growth targets.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achievement of key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Responsible for leading business development initiatives and sales plans to drive partner and sales growth to meet sales objectives and KPI's
  • Manage operational relationships with RSP's including onboarding, contractual negotiations, and project management of key initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external business partners/stakeholders
  • Cooperate with crossfunctional leaders within TPG Telecom to increase the value the company delivers to all its customers
  • Consistently display behaviours that align to TPG's Telecom corporate values
  • Set and execute the company's strategies to drive growth
  • Protect the brand, reputation, and profitability by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information assets and information systems
  • You will be responsible for identifying and leading improvement opportunities within the team, as well as ensuring appropriate controls are in place to manage risks, including the protection of TPG systems and information

Knowledge and experience

  • Strong leadership with proven ability to encourage, motivate and influence positive performance results and behaviours of team members
  • Highly experienced in using a "Customer Outcomes" type approach, utilising TPG's product and services to identify customer needs and sell into applicable market sectors
  • Able to creatively position TPG as an innovative, flexible and responsive service provider
  • Ability to proactively identify and create new business growth opportunities
  • Proven cultivator and 'closer' of sales opportunities at the Enterprise organisation level
  • Ability to solution sell and understand full product suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of sales strategies when selling into TPG market sectors, including both telco and ICT
  • Strong understanding of TPG's business and the competitive marketplace around us
  • Strong knowledge of all political and economic influences that could affect TPGs businesses and the broader marketplace
