About the Role


The Infrastructure Services Unit is seeking someone with great communication and organisational skills to facilitate the provision of informative and timely administrative and customer support.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with working through incoming correspondence, being confident in creating awareness on issues of concern, competing demands and supporting the development and delivery of process improvements across the Unit.


Core responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and allocation of Service Requests and workflows based on priority
  • Assist with business support activities across the Unit
  • Identify information to be updated on Council's website and intranet
  • Undertake duties and administrative task to assist the Infrastructure Services Leadership group including and not limited to project works, operational response, and customer liaison.

Infrastructure Services Support Officer

About You

  • High level computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Understanding of telephone and computerbased customer request systems.
  • Ability to solve problems using policies, procedures and standards, as well as professional knowledge and experience in an infrastructure services environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with customer service principles, practices, customer service request systems and complaint processes.
