The Reserve Bank's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is a centralised function that is responsible for providing effective governance over the Bank's strategic investment portfolio.


Working As an integral part of our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you will have oversight of assurance for the control environment for a portfolio of projects.

You will have a passion for ensuring projects are planned and executed to the highest standard and exceptional interpersonal and engagement skills.


You will practise pro-active risk management on projects, ensuring coverage and completeness of risks and mitigation across delivery and delivered risks.

You will also critically analyse projects, including strategies and risks, controls and systems and project reports. Your documentation and raising issues (including root causes) will add value and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of assigned projects with responsibility for assurance that project controls are applied.
  • Proactive risk management on projects, ensuring coverage and completeness of risks and mitigation across delivery and delivered risks.
  • Critically analyse projects, including strategies and risks, controls and systems as well as project reports. Document and raise issues (including root causes) and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, issues and risks in line with established benefits, scope, schedule and budget.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Project Managers on the Bank's project methodologies, tools and governance processes.
  • Champion, promote and share project learnings and bestpractice; support an uplift in Agile practices at the Bank.
  • Partner with project teams to continuously improve Business Cases, Change Requests, Status Reports and Steering Committee material.
  • Monitor project benefits and crossproject dependencies for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain positive and accountable stakeholder relationships.


Your Background- Experience in PMO Management within the ePMO environment.- A breadth of knowledge of project assurance methodologies and reporting outcomes of assurance.- Solid understanding of Project and Risk Management frameworks and tools, with experience in supporting adoption.- A background in the delivery of complex projects using Agile and Waterfall techniques.- Strengths in collecting, analysing and interpreting project data to provide insights and recommendations.- A focus on continuous improvement in adding value to the EPMO.- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written).- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the Bank and project management certifications (e.g.

Agile, Prince2, PMBOK).
