About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management Director to lead our Transformation Portfolio and Delivery teams. As a key member of our Westpac Group team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our PMO resources, delivery teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to PMO resources, delivery teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Delivery and Portfolio Reporting & Governance.
  • Executes, develops, and shares leading thinking to shape and continuously improve the approach to Westpac Ways of Working across BT.
  • Monitors, defines, and governs Transformation Portfolio and Delivery Standards to better monitor and report on initiative activities and risks.
  • Manages portfolio activities to prioritise and optimise initiatives based on strategic objectives, resource constraints, and risk considerations.
  • Understands applicable Code of Conduct standards and supports others to uplift compliance across teams and business areas.
  • Maintains adherence to Code of Conduct and leads quality assurance checks to self and others to sustain adherence to Code of Conduct standards across teams.
  • Leads and operates large complex portfolio/programs/projects.
  • Develops and manages relationships with key stakeholders across a broad range of business functions, including senior management, project and strategy teams, and business representatives.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence, coach, and mentor people to achieve positive outcomes and uplift team capability.
