About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Management Office Controller to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our HUB IT Project Management Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of projects within the PMO is consistent and follows agreed enterprise processes and governance.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on delivery, with a track-record of supporting the adoption and improvement of project governance, processes, and documents. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining PMO tools, assisting with portfolio management, and supporting projects through the transition process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain PMO tools to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Assist with portfolio management to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Support projects through the transition process, ensuring a smooth handover to business stakeholders
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project status and progress
  • Facilitate cost risk assessments and produce reports to inform business decisions
  • Assist in the production of issues, threats, and opportunities, and manage actions and mitigation
  • Support the development of risk schedules and live risk registers
  • Interface with the global IT Organisation and global IT PMO as necessary
  • Assist with budgeting processes, including IT CAPX budget and reporting
  • Work within the company's financial processes
  • Engage with stakeholders as required
About You

We are looking for a professional with strong focus on delivery, who has a track-record of supporting the adoption and improvement of project governance, processes, and documents. You will have a strong understanding of ITIL v3 Foundation and PRINCE, with certification in one or more of the following: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, or Continual Service Improvement.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Practical knowledge or willingness to learn methodologies and frameworks such as Lean, six-sigma, Agile, and PMI-ACP is desirable.

Effective use of Microsoft 365 and MS Teams is an advantage, with MS Project also being beneficial.
