About the Role:
The IT Project Management Office (PMO) Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of projects within the PMO, adhering to enterprise processes and governance. This position will work closely with the IT team and project managers to assure the delivery of the IT portfolio in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and maintenance of PMO tools
- Assisting with PMO portfolio management
- Supporting projects through the transition process and preparation for project closure
- Providing accurate project status assessments and reports to stakeholders
- Facilitating cost risk assessments and producing reports
- Assisting in the production of issues, threats, and opportunities, and managing actions and mitigation
- Supporting the development of the risk schedule and live risk register
- Interfacing with the global IT organization and global IT PMO as necessary
- Assisting with budgeting processes, including IT CAPX budget and reporting
- Working within the company's financial processes
- Engaging with stakeholders as required
- Supporting the regional IT PMO Director as needed
About You:
We are seeking a professional with a strong focus on delivery, who has a track-record of supporting the adoption and improvement of project governance, processes, and documents. You should appreciate the requirement to balance good governance with rapid delivery, ensuring quality outcomes and continual improvement.
Requirements:
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification
- PRINCE certification
- Practical knowledge or willingness to learn methodologies and frameworks, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Effective use of Microsoft 365, particularly MS Teams
- MS Project advantageous
