About the role:
Are you ready to be at the forefront of driving positive change within Origin's People & Culture team? We're on a mission to make good change happen faster, and as a P&C Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end Case Management, providing exceptional advice, and championing Origin's energy transition. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on a 12 month Limited Term Contract. With 2 days in office hybrid working arrnagements, based at any of our major city locations.
Why this role matters:
A our Senior Consultant, you will be leading complex workplace investigations, and expertly managing risks and supporting your internal stakeholders and business leaders. By provideing exceptional advice on Australian employment laws, and applying a commercially sensitive approach.
You you will also;
- Manage and resolve external ER claims and litigation, representing the business in relevant commissions.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex matters within the ER Team.
- Brief and direct external stakeholders, including lawyers and investigators.
- Support the ongoing development of Employee Relations best practices through projects and education.
What will you bring?
The ideal candidate will have a background in Employee Relations case management or as a HR Business Partner with substantial ER exposure. If you are someone who thrives in a consultative service environment, possesses outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. Making sound decisions under pressure, we want to hear from you.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- Deep understanding of Australian employment law and its practical application.
- Confidence and expertise in leading complex workplace investigations.
- Experience in managing matters before regulatory bodies, such as the Fair Work Commission.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced interpersonal skills, and influencing ability.
- Track record in fast-paced, customer-focused environments, emphasizing trusted and timely advice.
- Familiarity with Customer Service Management and HR Information systems, such as ServiceNow and SuccessFactors.
